COVID-19 NEWS & RESOURCES

2020 HOLIDAY GIFT GIVING POLICY AND COMPLIANCE

The first is to thank you for your continued support of Constructive Partnerships Unlimited (CP Unlimited) through your contributions to our programs and services on behalf of individuals with disabilities. Our vendors are an important component in not only providing the best goods and services to those we support, but also to ensure that our consumers are fully integrated into society's marketplace through this agency's use of community resources. Your ability to provide much needed goods and services during the pandemic is most commendable and appreciated.

Secondly, I want to remind you of this agency's commitment to business integrity through the Code of Business Conduct contained in our Corporate Compliance Program. The code includes a strong statement of CP Unlimited's commitment to our ethical obligations, mission and purposes, free of conflicts of interest. In furtherance of this commitment, the Code provides that all members of the CP Unlimited community must accomplish their business without engaging in any activity that would create a conflict of interest, or an appearance of a conflict of interest. This includes a prohibition against accepting expensive meals, gifts, refreshments, transportation, entertainment or other benefits, that could be seen as creating conflict be- tween their personal interest and CP Unlimited's legitimate business interests.

Therefore, I ask that you not give gifts directly to CP Unlimited employees with whom you have contact. Rather, if the spirit of the holiday season so moves you, please consider making a donation to the agency. In the alternative, if you wish to support a holiday party for some of our homes, please consider an in-kind donation of food or other party-related items that can be enjoyed by all.

Finally, I would like to reinforce our commitment to the entire CP Unlimited community, including our valued vendors, to full compliance with all of the laws and regulations governing our programs, services and busi- ness operations. A full copy of the CP Unlimited Board Approved Corporate Compliance Program can be viewed at the CP Unlimited website: www.cpunlimited.org

Thank you. I wish you and your family a safe and peaceful holiday season.
