Every fall and spring, CP Unlimited’s Hudson Valley Division plans and puts on sparkling and glamorous events for the people we support, the CP team, local leaders, and area partners. What began as a glittery dinner has grown to become a twice-yearly, anticipated opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the many families impacted by the Agency and our commitment to helping people with disabilities achieve fulfilling lives. In addition, CP’s formal programs provide a platform for allies and those affiliated with the I/DD community to recognize collective steps forward and marshal these dynamic advocates to motivate further change.
Below, we look back at our previous Spring and Fall formals, and provide a calendar for upcoming events and spaces in which to contribute to the CP mission:

Spring Formal 2024
More than 120 of CP Hudson Valley friends, family, and supporters showed up in their most colorful and sequined outfits to celebrate the Agency’s annual Spring Formal event on Saturday, May 4!
The event, at Curry Estate in Hopewell Junction, NY, was an opportunity to dance, dine, and delight in memories made this year and our hopes for the Summertime. We also reflected on our work building support for the Traveling with Dignity Act!

Spring Fling 2023
On Saturday, May 6, CP Unlimited Hudson Valley welcomed more than 115 guests at Sharpe Reservation in Fishkill, New York!
The HV team created handmade centerpieces and floral arches, along with stunning backdrops, to transform the venue into a colorful expression of joy and positivity! Entertainment included a live DJ, an interactive photo booth that proved super popular, delicious food and desserts, a drink fountain, a raffle with exciting experiences from local vendors, and a give-away table. Everyone wore their most dapper duds to dance the evening away, and we thank all of the local sponsors and donors that made it such a success! We also want to give special thanks to the offices of Assemblyman Anil Beephan, Senator Pete Harckham, and Congressman Matt Lawlor.
