CPU’s Spring Formal is a Sparkling Evening of Joy
Over 100 of the CPU team and people we support enjoyed a glittery night of music, dancing, dinner, and raffles at the annual CPU Spring Formal, held at Curry Estate in Hopewell Junction, New York.
The event was a special opportunity to infuse joy throughout the CPU network and we were happy to see smiles light up the room throughout the night.
In attendance were business and local leaders, community advocates, and others from throughout Hudson Valley who see the value and impact the Agency has been able to achieve.
We were also proud to honor New York State Senator Rob Rolison with the CPU Ability Hero Award for his work co-sponsoring the Traveling with Dignity Act and support of the work of CP Unlimited in Poughkeepsie and beyond. With plans to open two new homes in that area this year-including one at the end of the month- CPU has planted deep roots of support, care, and friendship with the help of Senator Rolison. We include his speech below.

Said Senator Rolison: “There are times in your life when people say thank you and it really means a lot. This is one of those times. I want to thank you for making me a better person to be with you and work with you so everyone gets to have dignity by traveling, by living, and by coming to events like these. I couldnt be more honored to receive an award from an organization like CP.”
The Agency also thanks the sponsors of the evening, including:
